PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use screw tightening machine accurately positioning a screw in a hole, for example, for fastening a joint bracket. SOLUTION: The screw tightening machine includes: a driver bit 12; a guide section 5 covering the driver bit 12 attached to a screw tightening tool; a sliding section 3 relatively movable in an axial direction of the driver bit with respect to the guide section 5; and a magazine section 4, fixed on the sliding section 3, to hold a plurality of screws and sequentially transfer them onto an axis of the driver bit. The circumferential side of the driver bit 12 is provided with an axially slidable sleeve 40 rotated by the driver bit, a male-threaded portion is formed on a circumference of the sleeve 40, a half nut means 50 having a female-threaded portion corresponding to the male-threaded portion is provided on the circumferential side, and the driver bit 12 is rotated to cause the male-threaded portion of the sleeve 40 and the female-threaded portion of the half nut 50 to act on each other to advance the sleeve 40, thereby projecting the screw 80 forward from a slider 30 before screw tightening.
