PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power value calculation method and electric power value calculation system for correctly grasping an amount of electric power consumption of electronic products in operation.SOLUTION: A method by means of a system calculating a value of an electric power to be supplied to one electronic article or a plurality of electronic articles via a power line electrically distributed by a power distribution board comprises the steps of: measuring an electric current flowing through the one electronic article or the plurality of electronic articles via the power line, respectively; standardizing a waveform of the measured electric current flowing through the one electronic article or the plurality of electronic articles, respectively; generating a reference electric current waveform on the basis of respective standardized waveforms of the electric current; measuring the electric current flowing to the power distribution board; fitting respective generated reference electric current waveforms into the waveform of the measured electric current flowing to the power distribution board; and calculating the value of the electric current on the basis of respective fit electric current waveforms.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
