PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle detection sensor that offers improved particle detection accuracy, and others.SOLUTION: A particle detection sensor 1 includes; a housing 10 having an inlet port 101 for particles 2 to flow in; an optical system 20 configured to optically detect the particles 2 flowing into the housing 10 through the inlet port 101 and passing through a detection area DA covered with the housing 10; a heater unit 60 that generates a gas flow inside the housing 10 by making a gas containing the particles 2 flowing in through the inlet port 101 to flow through the detection area DA; and a dust suppression wall 30 that is disposed between the inlet port 101 and the detection area DA at a position closer to the inlet port 101 than to the heater unit 60 to suppress entry of dust particles 3 larger than the particles 2 into the detection area DA.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
