<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of preventing the occurrence of erroneous operation of an illuminance sensor. <P>SOLUTION: This display device is provided with a box-shaped device main body 1, an opening part 11a provided in the front of the device main body 1, a liquid crystal panel 2 stored in the inside of the device main body 1 and arranged to face the outside from the opening part 11a, a substrate 3 stored in the inside of the device main body 1 and arranged on the opposite side to the opening part 11a across the liquid crystal panel 2, a lighting system 4 provided on the substrate 3 to illuminate the liquid crystal panel 2, the illuminance sensor 3a provided on the substrate 3 to detect illuminance around the illuminance sensor, and an introduction hole 11b provided through the front surface of the device main body 1 to oppose to the illuminance sensor 3a to introduce light from the outside into the illuminance sensor 3a. A light guiding member 8 made of acrylic resin and extended from an introduction hole 11a to the vicinity of the illuminance sensor 3a is provided in the inside of the device main body 1, and a shielding part 6c made of a light insulating material covering parts around the light guiding member 8 and the section of the illuminance sensor 3a disposed opposite the lighting system 4 is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
