According to an embodiment of the present invention, a working machine, which moves on a working surface where work is performed or on a movement surface forming a movement road for a vehicle, comprises a transmission, a position measuring part and a control part. The transmission includes gears of which radius changes depending on a driving speed. The position measuring part detects the state of the road surface and transmits a signal. The control part changes the shifting reference value allowing the change of a speed when the control part receives a signal indicating the detection of surface movement from the position measuring part. The working machine detects the work road surface and the drive road surface, and when the work machine detects the road surface as a movement surface by receiving a regular signal from the road surface, differently from a work surface, changes the shifting point to achieve shifting conversion such that the engine drive point is effectively used, thereby reducing fuel consumption. |
