PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flushing device for a railway vehicle, capable of precisely performing fixed-quantity circulation control at the time of flushing to a work so that the oil supply quantity of lube oil supplied to the work and the drain oil quantity of lube oil discharged from the work are the same, and easily adjusting the flow rate.SOLUTION: A flushing device for a railway vehicle comprises: a wheel shaft rolling mechanism; a supply channel through which lube oil is supplied to an axle box 4 (work) from a tank 61; a return channel through which lube oil is returned from the axle box 4 to the tank; and a filter 91 for removing impurity from lube oil which has passed through the axle box 4. A circulation path ZK is formed by connecting the supply channel to the return channel to have a closed circuit for circulating lube oil. A first cross valve 71 and a second cross valve 72 are provided for changeover between a non-circulation flow in which lube oil flows from the tank 61 to the tank 61 through the supply channel and the return channel and a circulation flow in which lube oil circulates and flows in the circulation path ZK. A supply/discharge dual purpose pump 80 is provided along the circulation path ZK from which a certain amount of lube oil can be delivered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
