PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a composite building capable of improving a seismic capacity of the building and achieving economic design.SOLUTION: A composite building 1 comprises: a lower and middle layer structure 2; a high layer structure 3, which is arranged in parallel with the lower and middle layer structure 2 with a clearance between them so as not to interfere with each other and has a space extending above the lower and middle layer structure in a vertical direction; and a seismic isolator 4 is disposed between a top face or an upper side face of the lower and middle structure and the high layer structure. The seismic isolator 4 is disposed between a top face of a column 21 of the lower and middle layer structure 2 and an undersurface of a column 34 of the high layer structure 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
