CASTING ROLL OF STRIP CASTER WITH TWIN ROLL

PURPOSE: A casting roll for a twin-roll strip caster is provided to improve the cooling performance of the edge part of the casting roll by sealing a cooling water cover through rolling friction welding. CONSTITUTION: A casting roll for a twin-roll strip caster comprises multiple cooling water holes(8) and rod-shaped cooling water covers(10). The cooling water holes are formed in a sleeve which forms an exterior part. Both ends of the cooling water holes are inward tapered. The cooling water covers are sealed in both tapered ends of the cooling water holes through rolling friction welding.
