The fitting (10) has a body (11) with a plane support face (12) that is flatten against a wall or a screen (25) of a hollow section (24) of a sliding opening frame. A fixation device (16) includes a flange (17) for receiving a rod (21). The rod traverses the body in a bore (22) of the fixation device and axially engages in the flange. The rod drives the flange to rotate a locking position. The screen is locked between a parallelepiped shaped radial pin (19) of the flange and the plane support face by complementary rotation of the rod when the radial pin is in abutment.
