The fluid filter such as a fuel filter comprises a housing (4) formed by a pot and a lid (3) in which a ring filter element (5) is radially arranged flows through from an outside to an inside, where the ring filter element separates an externally lying untreated area (6) from an internally lying clean room (7) and comprises an upper end plate and a lower end plate, where a filter element support: is arranged in the pot that is sealed opposite to a wall of the top; and comprises a first seal contour facing towards the ring filter element. The filter element support: is sealed by an O-ring seal opposite to the wall of the pot; and comprises a molded stiffening rib. The second counter-contour is formed as a sealing lip, which creates under operating pressure of the fluid filter close to the second seal contour. A spring ring/sealing ring is arranged between the respective seal contour and the associated counter-contour. An inlet and an outlet are arranged in the lid of the fluid filter. |
