PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-efficiency light emission device that emits light of intermediate colors from blue color to green color which are low in color saturation and bring soft impression.SOLUTION: A light emission device has a light emission element 10 having a light emission peak wavelength ranging from 420 nm or more and 480 nm or less, and at least one kind of fluorescent material 70 selected from the group consisting of alkali earth metal aluminate fluorescent material represented by the following composition formula (1) and oxynitride-based fluorescent material represented by the following composition formula (2), and emits light from blue color to green color: (Sr,Eu)AlO(1) (where x satisfies 0.025<x<0.4, and a part of Sr may be replaced by at least one kind of element selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Ba and Zn) and (Ba,Eu)SiON(2) (where y satisfies 0<y<1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
