PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device having a pressure spacing mechanism capable of stopping at a predetermined position when a stop error occurs at proper position first, by changing pressuring (separation) drive condition for retry depending on the first error situation with a simple structure, in which a fixing device 5 has a pressure spacing mechanism including a fixing member 5a and a pressure member 5b constituting a fixing nip part N.SOLUTION: When a separation (pressure) error occurs and performing a retry, the retry is made after changing the drive conditions different from the first drive condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
