PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for enhancing the quality of reproduced image data, generated by combining a plurality of image data generated by a plurality of image sensors.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 30 has an evaluation value calculation unit 41 for calculating a first evaluation value (AR) based on the total value of a plurality of pixel values of first overlap image data obtained by reading an overlap region by means of one of a pair of image sensors, and a second evaluation value (AL) based on the total value of a plurality of pixel values of second overlap image data obtained by reading the overlap region by means of the other image sensor, a correction parameter determination unit 42 for determining a gain and an offset, as the correction parameters for matching the first and second evaluation values, and a correction processing unit 43 for correcting the brightness of the image data by using the gain and offset.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
