<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corner determining device capable of accurately determining whether or not a road has consecutive corners. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The corner determining device comprises a corner detecting means S201 for detecting a corner in front of a vehicle; the number of corners detecting means S202 for detecting the number of corners in a designated range; and a corner curving degree detecting means S203 for detecting curving degrees of the plurality of corners. When the number of corners in the designated range is the predesignated value or more and the curving degrees of the corners are the predesignated value or more (Yes at S204), the corner determining device determines that the road is provided with the consecutive corners (Step S205). The corner curving degree detecting means calculates an average value for curving degrees of the plurality of corners as the curving degrees of the plurality of corners.
