PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an intermediate rolling process higher in size accuracy/shape accuracy than in the conventional case by suppressing web center deviation in an intermediate universal rolling mill for manufacturing an H-shaped steel.SOLUTION: An intermediate universal rolling roll provided in an intermediate universal rolling mill for carrying out an intermediate rolling process for a roughly H-shaped rolled member in the manufacturing of an H-shaped steel product includes a pair of upper and lower horizontal rolls facing the web part upper and lower surfaces of the rolled member and configured to sandwich and convey the web part in a rolling direction during rolling, a pair of left and right vertical rolls facing the flange part outside surface of the rolled member and brought into contact with the outside surface to press it during the rolling, the horizontal roll includes a roll part having no tapered shape in a side surface part, and a roll part having a tapered shape in the side surface part, and the vertical roll includes a roll part having no tapered shape in a peripheral surface part, and a roll part having a tapered shape in the peripheral surface part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
