PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide furniture capable of being assembled quickly and accurately.SOLUTION: The furniture includes: a base 1 placed on a floor face; and a support pillar 2 erected from the base 1. An engagement device 3 including a tubular body 32 and an insertion body 31 arranged between the base 1 and the support pillar 2 includes: a pressing jaw 34 arranged in either one of the tubular body 32 and the insertion body 31 and pressing the other in a predetermined direction; a close contact face 33 prohibiting movement in the predetermined direction by closely contacting an inner face of the tubular body 32; an engagement part X prohibiting movement in a perpendicular direction to the predetermined direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
