PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary doctor device capable of improving the productivity of printing by reducing the ink use amount by suppressing ink shortage due to squeeze-out of the ink from both ends of a doctor, and a printer using the same.SOLUTION: An auxiliary doctor device 406 comprises: two auxiliary doctor blades which are arranged at positions overlapping on both ends of an application doctor 401 on the rear side in the travel direction of the application doctor 401, and are inclined toward the width direction center of a printing plate orthogonal to the travel direction of the application doctor; and a movement mechanism which moves the auxiliary doctor blades in the travel direction of the application doctor following the application doctor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
