Diesel vehicles exhaust gas purification device and control method thereof

PURPOSE: A device for purifying exhaust gas of a diesel vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to reduce a size by integrally coupling a diesel oxidation catalyst to a diesel particulate filter. CONSTITUTION: A device for purifying exhaust gas of a diesel vehicle comprises a fuel/air injection unit(200), a diesel oxidation catalyst(300), and a diesel particulate filter(400). The fuel/air injection unit is installed in an exhaust pipe(110) connected to an engine(100) and injects fuel and air into exhaust gas. The diesel oxidation catalyst is installed in the rear end of the fuel/air injection unit and increases the temperature of the exhaust gas through the injected fuel and air. The diesel particulate filter is located at the rear end of the diesel oxidation catalyst and removes particulate matters.
