<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the degradation of power generation performance of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell is provided with: an electrolyte layer; diffusion layers arranged on both sides of the electrolyte layer and each used for running a reaction gas in the inside thereof to supply the reaction gas to the electrolyte layer; and separators arranged on both sides of the diffusion layers for supplying the reaction gas to the diffusion layers. In the separator, a surface facing to the diffusion layer has a flat shape. The diffusion layer includes at least one layer and the at least one layer of the diffusion layer is so structured that the more a part thereof approaches the upstream side of the flow of the reaction gas, the more passage resistance of the reaction gas in the inside is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
