Rotatable display of a torque wrench

The spanner (1) has a digital display (5) e.g. LED display, displaying an indicated value (12). The display is arranged on a shaft (2) in a region of a handle (3). The indicated value is set as a torque value (11) that represents preset torque and currently applied torque. The indicated value is rotated at an angle around 180 degrees by an input at an adjusting unit (7). An angle measuring device determines rotation of the indicated value in the display. A gyro-sensor is provided for adjusting a display position.
