<p>PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for welding filer metal to a contact material are provided to ensure low costs and high productivity by welding a base material and filler metal using induction current induced from an induction coil of a high-frequency induction heater. CONSTITUTION: A method for welding filer metal to a contact material is as follows. A base material and filler metal, which are in contact with each other in a reduction atmosphere, are welded using induction current induced from an induction coil of a high-frequency induction heater. The reduction atmosphere is created by injecting mixed nitrogen and hydrogen gas into a high heat-resistance tube(142). In the mixed gas, hydrogen gas is included at a concentration of 5-28% as reduction gas. The amount of gas injected into the high heat-resistance tube under the atmospheric pressure corresponds to nitrogen 1-10L/min and hydrogen 1-5L/min.</p> |
