DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM AND SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an application worked on a single node to be concurrently executed on a plurality of nodes having same execution environment without modification (or man-hour for modification is reduced).SOLUTION: A data processing system communicating with terminals through network comprises a plurality of servers communicating with each other. Each of the servers includes: a data processing unit which can perform data processing according to a request from terminals in a charged range among the terminals; a data store in which master information associating the charged range with a server capable of accessing the terminals within the charged range is shared by communicating with the other data stores each other; and a distribution processing unit which can access each master information and control each data processing unit to perform data processing. The distribution processing unit accesses own master information to analyze whether a server associated with the charged range by own master information is own server or not so that the distribution processing unit is determined to be qualified to control the data processing unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
