PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the knotting of string ends without causing the breakage of a string even when binding with a low-strength string, such as an edible string, is carried out.SOLUTION: After a winding step of winding a string 50 around an object W to be bound, a step of knotting a winding start side knot margin 51 and a winding end side knot margin 52 of the string 50 together is carried out by: loop formation processing for forming a loop R in each of the knot margins 51 and 52; loop tightening processing for pulling, into the loop R, each of the knot margins 51 and 52 on the side of a string engagement button 7 with respect to the loop R and tightening the loop to make a knot; and string end release processing for cutting the winding end side knot margin 52 on the side of the string engagement button 7 with respect to the loop R, engaging the winding start side knot margin 51 between the loop R and the string engagement button 7 and pulling it out of the string engagement button 7. In this case, after the completion of the loop formation processing, the loop tightening processing is started after a prescribed time interval, and the string end release processing is carried out during the time interval to distribute, in terms of time, the processing in which tension is applied to the string.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
