PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fullerene derivative that is a fullerene ester type derivative including any number of -OC(=X)-Rgroups directly added to a fullerene skeleton such as C, and is rapidly synthesized under a mild condition.SOLUTION: This fullerene derivative is expressed by formula (1). In the formula, FLN shows the fullerene skeleton; Rshows a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted 1-24C hydrocarbon group; X shows an oxygen atom or sulfur atom; Rshows a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted 1-24C hydrocarbon group, and each of a and b independently shows an integer of 1 or more and 3 or less. |
