The invention relates to components for an improved system for pick-up impression making at a dental implantation site, comprising an abutment, an abutment replica and an impression coping. The invention also relates to a series of abutments and to a set comprising an abutment and an impression coping. The abutment is comprising an implant contacting region (2) and a component support region (3), said component support region (3) having a maximum diameter (A) and extending coronally of said maximum diameter to a coronal end (6), and being provided with a component engagement (9) being arranged for releasable engagement with said component by linear displacement of said dental component in relation to said abutment (1), said component engagement (9) being located at a position closer to said maximum diameter (A) than to said coronal end (6) of said component support region (3).
