PURPOSE: An information control device of a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to display the network of emergency contacts in a locking mode and to rapidly return a mobile terminal from the other user. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(304) stores contact address information. If a mobile terminal is in a loss mode, a control unit(301) converts the mobile terminal into a lock mode. The control unit generates an emergency contact address menu. A display unit(303) displays the emergency contact address menu on a screen. When the mobile terminal is in a loss mode, the control unit displays a first address on the emergency contact address menu.
