LATCHING DEVICE AND LAUNCHING APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A latch mechanism and a launcher having the same are provided to automatically return a gun barrel in situ after launching cannon because recoil force is reduced by cancelling out firing impact energy. CONSTITUTION: A latch mechanism(100) comprises a housing(110), a cylinder(120), a piston(130), a connecting rod(140), and a latch module(150). A gun barrel is installed in the housing and the cylinder is rotatably installed inside the housing. The piston is slidingly installed in the cylinder. The connecting rod is connected to the piston and rotates in a part connecting to piston. The latch module is rotatably installed in the connecting rod and the housing. The latch module rotates in a direction where the gun barrel is unlocked in order to move forward the gun barrel and the piston is slid along a shaft of the cylinder.
