Thermochromic Smart Window and Method of Manufacturing the Same

PURPOSE: A thermo-chromic smart window and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve energy efficiency of cooling and heating and to secure convenient environments for human bodies by including a thermo-chromic layer of narrow hysteresis widths according to the increase and the decrease of temperatures. CONSTITUTION: A thermo-chromic smart window includes a substrate(30) and a thermo-chromic layer formed on the substrate. The reflection rate curve slope of the thermo-chromic layer at the critical temperature is between 1 and 2 %/degrees Celsius. The critical temperature is between 50 and 70 degrees Celsius. The hysteresis width of the reflection rate curve is lower than or equal to 10 degrees Celsius. The reflection ate of the reflection rate curve is between 40 and 50%. The thermo-chromic layer includes a vanadium dioxide film.
