METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECOVERY OF AMINE FROM AMINE-CONTAINING WASTE WATER AND REGENERATION OF AMINE-FORM CATION EXCHANGE RESIN

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for collecting amine containing wastewater and regenerating amine saturated cation exchanging resins are provided to collect amine of high concentration and high purity from amine containing wastewater and to regenerate amine saturate cation resins by injecting a strong acid solution into amine trapped in a cation exchanging resin layer. CONSTITUTION: A cation exchanging resin layer traps and elutes amine from amine containing wastewater. A gas stripper degasses the eluted amine. A vacuum pump is in connection with the gas stripper. A condensation cooling column condenses the degassed amine at a temperature lower than or equal to minus 33 degrees Celsius. An adsorption column traps one or more selected from groups composed of water and amine. Amine trapped in the cation exchanging resin layer is eluted by injecting a strong acid solution. The eluted amine is vacuum-degassed, and the cation exchanging resin is regenerated.
