PURPOSE: An information terminal, a location determining method, and location based service method thereof are provided to easily obtain the administrative district name of a region where an information terminal is located. CONSTITUTION: A reference point database(150) matches a representative coordinate point by administrative district with an administrative district name. A location determination unit(130) obtains the current location of the information terminal based on the distance to the representative coordinate point.
