PURPOSE: A slate for a blind comprising a two-stage folding function is provided to block light or effectively hide an exposed state since in a state slates maintain level, an odd-number slate makes contact with a neighboring even-number slate, and the even-number slate is far away from the next odd-number slate. CONSTITUTION: A slate for a blind comprising a two-stage folding function comprises lift(2), a rotator(3), a first roller(4), and second rollers(5). The lift is arranged in a housing(1). The lift moves up and down slates with a lifting rope(11). The rotator rotates the slates with a rotating rope(21). When the slates rotate by the rotating rope, the first roller rotates odd-number slates through a first fixing rope(31) in place. When the slates rotate with the rotating rope, the second roller falls and rotates even-number slates through a second fixing rope(41).
