PURPOSE: A device for operating a control valve is provided to reduce abrasion due to stick-slip and decrease frictional resistance since a front end is horizontally rotated with being inserted into a concave part of a piston. CONSTITUTION: A device for operating a control valve comprises an exhaust hole(30a), an intake hole(30b), and an exhaust pipe(30c). The control valve comprises a housing(30), a piston(31), and a valve body(32). The control valve is converted into air supply position connecting the intake hole and the exhaust hole, the air exhaust position connecting the exhaust hole and the exhaust pipe, and the middle position for stopping the supply and exhaust of air. A concave part(31a) is formed on the end of the projected side of the piston. The control valve comprises a lever member(40) and a pin member(44). The lever member rotates in the moving direction of the piston.
