Transformed Escherichia coli for Over-expression of Fatty Acid Biosynthesis Pathway and Method of Preparing the Same

PURPOSE: A transgenic fatty acid prepared by a gene encoding an enzyme relating to fatty acid biosynthesis pathway is provided to ensure genetic stability and to induce fatty acid circuit. CONSTITUTION: An E.coli for overexpression of fatty acid is cotransformed by an expression vector containing a nucleotide sequence encoding beta-ketoacyl-(acyl transfer protein) synthase III, and a nucleotide encoding acetyl-CoA carboxylase, carboxytransferase, alpha subunit. A method for biosynthesis of fatty acid comprises: a step of culturing E.coli and biosynthetizing; and a step of collecting biosynthesized fatty acid.
