PURPOSE: A thin film solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase the absorption efficiency of sunlight which enters into a top layer by forming an adhesion layer including a metal particle of a nano-size on a surface of a substrate. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode layer(111) is formed on a substrate(110). One or more cells are used as a light absorption layer while being formed on a transparent electrode layer. A backside reflection layer is formed on the cell. An adhesion layer(101) includes a metal particle(120) of a nano-size. A superhydrophobic micro sphere(130) is formed on the adhesion layer.
