PURPOSE: A centrifugal casting apparatus for manufacturing a copper cage rotor and a centrifugal casting method thereof are provided to improve the electrical efficiency of a motor using copper having high electric conductivity. CONSTITUTION: A centrifugal casting apparatus(100) for manufacturing a copper cage rotor comprises a core, a lower mold(120), an upper mold(110), a gate unit, and an eject pin. Steel pieces are loaded on the core in an axial direction. The core is axially placed in the lower mold. A lower insulation mold(140) having a cavity is coupled to the inside the lower mold, and an upper insulation mold(130) for surrounding the core is coupled to the inside the upper mold. The upper mold is axially meshed with the lower mold. The gate unit is located at the upper mold. Molten metal is injected into the gate unit. The eject pin has one or more air outlets(170b) which exhaust air from the molds to the outside.
