PURPOSE: An internet access method of a WiFi terminal for connecting an open type AP without the waste of time is provided to guide an automatic access to the other AP to a user in case a terminal requests an internet access to an open type AP by DHCP. CONSTITUTION: A control unit of a mobile terminal checks the reception of an IP(Internet Protocol) allocated in a corresponding AP(Access Point)(S12). If IP is normally received from the AP, the control unit connects the internet through the IP(S13). If the IP is not normally received, the control unit checks the signal strength of the corresponding AP(S14). In case the RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indication) of the AP is higher than wireless performance of the mobile terminal, the control unit guides accessible AP and a DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) state of the AP(S15,S16).
