The sensor has a metallic measurement line including elongated and parallel sections (4, 5) in which current flows in opposite directions. The sections are connected to a portion (3) for closing the line. The measurement lines are arranged on a galvanic insulation layer (8) arranged on a portion of integrated detection circuit or under the layer placed under the circuit. The portion of the circuit has giant magnetoresistors (31-34), where each magnetoresistor has a sensitive part superposed to one of sections of the line so as to be sensitive to field created by current flowing in the line.
