PURPOSE: An instrument is provided to protect a measuring instrument from paint dust when painting a ship block by using a painting system. CONSTITUTION: An instrument comprises: a measuring instrument case(110) inserted into one side of a measuring instrument(230); hinge blocks(120) installed on the both side of the measuring instrument case; an opening/closing cover(130) in which ends are hinge-connected to the hinge blocks respectively; an operation part(121) is installed on one side of the measuring instrument case corresponding to the opening/closing cover; and a protection cover installed in the measuring instrument in the state of surrounding the outside of the operation part and the measuring instrument case. The operation part selectively open/close the opening/closing cover from the measuring instrument case through the operation of a cylinder.
