Method for purifying soil contaminated with heavy metal by fly ash around smelter facilities using wet classification and magnetic separation

PURPOSE: A method for purifying soil polluted with arsenic-containing heavy metals due to the scattering of a smelting process is provided to efficiently preserve soil by cost-effectively purifying soil and returning non-polluted soil to original positions. CONSTITUTION: A wet classifying process classifies soli polluted with heavy metals due to scattering into coarse particles without heavy metals and micro particles with heavy metals(S120). A magnetic separating process separates the classified micro particles into magnetic minerals and non-magnetic minerals using a permanent magnet separator of 10000-15000 gauss magnetic flux density(S130). A sieve filtering process separates foreign materials from the polluted soil using a sieve of 1-3mm before the wet classifying process(S110).
