<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a tubular fluorescent lamp capable of improving productivity. <P>SOLUTION: A forming device 11 for forming a tubular cold-cathode fluorescent lamp 1 into a double helix shape comprises: a furnace 12 including a housing 18 having an internal space 19 which can accommodate the cold-cathode fluorescent lamp 1, and a heater which can make the internal space 19 to be in the environment of a predetermined high temperature; a core 41 where the cold-cathode fluorescent lamp 1 accommodated in the internal space 19 can be wound around a main body 43; and a driving device having a function of rotating the core 41 and a function of shifting the core 41 in the direction of rotation axis. The housing 18 is provided with a first opening 22 from which a portion wound on the core 41, of the cold-cathode fluorescent lamp 1, and a portion with the cold-cathode fluorescent lamp 1 wound therearound, of the core 41, are sequentially led out of the housing 18, starting from a state before the winding of the cold-cathode fluorescent lamp 1 is completed in the entire longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
