<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery control device and a control method of a secondary battery capable of extending a using time to use an apparatus consecutively while switching a plurality of the secondary batteries. <P>SOLUTION: A secondary battery control device comprises: a plurality of temperature detection elements 8 detecting temperature of a plurality of same rated secondary batteries 3 respectively; a switcher 10 connecting output from any one of the plurality of secondary batteries to a load; and a control unit 9 operating the switcher to select one of the plurality of secondary batteries on the basis of temperature information of each secondary battery obtained by the temperature detection elements. After connecting the selected secondary battery to the load, the control unit switches the secondary battery connected with the load from the secondary battery selected at first to a secondary battery which is not selected yet when the temperature of the secondary battery selected at first reaches a prescribed threshold temperature. When all secondary batteries are selected and the temperature of the last secondary battery selected at last reaches the prescribed threshold temperature, the secondary battery selected at first is connected to the load again. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
