<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing apparatus that can appropriately seal an envelope where a flap part is not peeled off from the envelope body even when adhesive strength of a sealing agent is reduced since sealing processing is not performed beyond a predetermined time. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing apparatus includes: an application means for applying the sealing agent which seals an unsealed envelope to an application position; a fold line forming part for forming a fold line on the flap part; a press roller for sealing the envelope by holding the fold line formed in the fold line forming part and by sticking the flap part to the envelope body with the sealing agent applied by the application means; and a control part 7 for controlling the operation of each part. The control part 7 includes an adjustment means 80 for adjusting an application operation of the sealing agent to the envelope by the application means between when the sealing processing is performed after it is not performed beyond the predetermined time and when the sealing processing is performed within the predetermined time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
