<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently predict the shape of a tread part before abrasion, when predicting the shape of the tread part of a tire. <P>SOLUTION: When predicting the shape of the tread part of the tire, an abrasion model of the tire of which the abraded shape of the tread part is reproduced is made as a tire model. Next, friction energy received from a road surface model to the tire model when the tire model rolls on the road surface model reproducing a road surface is calculated. An abrasion quantity of the tread part is calculated based on the calculated friction energy. The tire model having a crown shape before abrasion of the tread part is made by predicting the crown shape of the tread part before abrasion by adding the thickness of the abrasion quantity to the crown shape of the tread part of the tire model used for calculating abrasion energy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
