<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator that can prevent the food stored in a decompression storage chamber from deterioration for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes a refrigerator body provided with a storage chamber, a low-pressure chamber disposed in the storage chamber, and a decompression means that decompresses the interior of the low-pressure chamber. The low-pressure chamber has a low-pressure chamber body having an opening through which food is put in or taken out, and a low-pressure chamber door that opens or closes the opening. A cold storage material is provided on the lower surface in the low-pressure chamber body.
