<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that insufficient cooling occurs if a roaring noise is generated or an abnormality occurs in temperature detection of a thermistor when a plurality of cooling fans are controlled by using a temperature sensor. <P>SOLUTION: An endoscope light-source device, configured to have one or more temperature measurement positions in its inside, includes: one or more cooling means 108, 109 corresponding to the one or more temperature measurement positions; a plurality of temperature measuring means 116, 105; first cooling-control-value calculating means 202, 203 for calculating control values of the cooling means on the basis of each measured temperature; second cooling-control-value calculating means 202, 203 for calculating second cooling control values on the basis of the cooling efficiency, determined by the fan arrangement and the air flow, by multiplying the calculated first cooling control values by the cooling efficiency; a cooling-control-value selecting means 204 that compares each second cooling control value based on each measured temperature so as to select the second cooling control value having the highest coolability; and cooling control means 205, 206 for controlling all the cooling means on the basis of the selected second cooling control value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
