TACTILE FEEDBACK DEVICE, AND TACTILE FEEDBACK DEVICE CONTROL METHOD

Disclosed is a tactile feedback device in which, between dual chips, application processes are executed on the basis of pressing forces by exchanging signals related to detected pressing forces for tactile feedback. The tactile feedback device is equipped with: a touch sensor; a load detection unit that detects a pressing force on said touch sensor for tactile feedback; a tactile feedback unit that causes the touch surface of the touch sensor to vibrate; a tactile feedback control unit that controls the driving of said tactile feedback unit; and a main control unit that controls an application. The tactile feedback control unit transmits the pressing force to the main control unit, and the main control unit performs application processing on the basis of the output of the touch sensor and the pressing force received from the tactile feedback control unit.
