The electromotor (1) comprises a rotor shaft (2), and a measuring scale cooperative sensors (11) for supplying a rotation signal, mounted in a housing (3). The sensor is an inductive or capacitive sensor, a Hall sensor or a magneto-resistive sensor. A switchable lock (5) which is arranged in a snap-in configuration with the sensor, blocks the rotation of the rotor shaft. The sensor and switchable lock are formed as an integrated module which is arranged at an axial side of the electromotor in the region of the rotor shaft.
