PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a misalignment between a speed reduction device and a driven machine.SOLUTION: A speed reduction device comprises: a casing 12; an output shaft 14; a first bearing 16 that supports the output shaft 14 on the load side; a second bearing 22 that supports the output shaft on the anti-load side; and biasing means 24 that biases the output shaft 14 in a thrust direction. The speed reduction device also comprises a thrust bearing 18 arranged between the first bearing 16 and the second bearing 22. An outer ring 18a of the thrust bearing 18 is installed in the casing 12 with a clearance fit, and the biasing means 24 biases the outer ring 18a of the thrust bearing 18 toward the load side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
