PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic apparatus which, by only an intuitive and simple operation, can easily obtain a favorite photograph reflecting the photographer's intention.SOLUTION: The photographic apparatus comprises: an image pickup unit including an image sensor 52 to pick up the image of the subject; a display unit 60 which displays an image based on the image data acquired by the image pickup unit; a touch panel 65 disposed on the display surface of the display unit; a light source detection unit 55 which detects a light source in the image being displayed on the display unit; an operation input determination unit 67 which detects coordinate data corresponding to an input operation on the touch panel to determine operation input; a control unit 66 which sets a designated region in the image on the basis of the coordinate data detected by the operation input determination unit; a luminance distribution determination unit 68 which determines the luminance distribution of a region corresponding to the coordinate data determined by the operation input determination unit; a luminance distribution emphasis unit 70 which emphasizes the luminance of a predetermined region in the image; and recording units 61 and 62 which record the image data. The luminance distribution emphasis unit emphasizes the luminance of a designated region which was set by the control unit. |
