<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that has excellent performance balance of pressure-sensitive adhesive characteristics, excellent solubility and processability. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer composition for a pressure-sensitive adhesive includes (1) 95-99 mass% of a block copolymer that comprises a polymer block (A) mainly composed of a vinyl aromatic monomer unit and a polymer block (B) mainly composed of a conjugated diene monomer unit and is a mixture of a prescribed diblock copolymer component (a) and a prescribed block copolymer (any one component of a component (b), a component (c) and a component (d)) and (2) 1-5 mass% of a resin mainly comprising a polystyrene having a prescribed peak molecular weight and molecular weight distribution. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is obtained by combining the polymer composition for a pressure-sensitive adhesive with a tackifier and a softener. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
